    Annick Menardo

    Grasse is a city located on the Côte d’Azur and has a unique heritage. All its activity buzzes around perfume and more than 10% of the local population is employed there in this industry. Moreover, it has seen the birth of many renowned perfumers. Among the most famous of them, Grasse can boast of having welcomed Annick Ménardo, a talented designer born just 20 km away, in Cannes.

    Annick Ménardo’s journey

    Annick Ménardo was born in Cannes and therefore very quickly immersed himself in the world of perfumery. Indeed, this region of our country is loaded with many fields of flowers and associates as much vegetable or mineral smells as those of the sea spray. Very early fascinated by the scents, Annick Ménardo oriented her schooling in this direction. She first began studying chemistry before joining the prestigious Isipca Higher School, the International Higher Institute of Perfume, Cosmetics and Food Aromatics. It is located in Versailles in the Yvelines and can boast of having trained a very large number of renowned perfumers. In parallel with her studies, Annick Ménardo did her apprenticeship at Créations Aromatique, now Symrise. The, she had the chance to benefit from the advice and support of one of the masters of perfumery, the talented Michel Almairac. The latter was his trainer and allowed him to acquire the most solid bases possible. Once her diploma in hand, Annick Ménardo was not long in joining Firmenich, a real giant in the world of perfumery in which she has been developing many successes since that day.

    Annick Ménardo’s style is very contemporary and pioneering. Indeed, the latter is above all passionate about art in general and is therefore recognized for her work with the sculptor Nobi Shioya. Annick Ménardo thus seems to make the greatest creative houses happy. We owe him Rouge by Lacoste, Jaïpur Homme by Boucheron, Fuel for Life by Diesel, Bois d’Arménie by Guerlain, the first fragrance by Lolita Lempicka as well as its male counterpart, Boss Bottled by Hugo Boss, Body Kouros by Yves. Saint-Laurent or even Hypnotic Poison by Christian Dior.
