    Clement Gavarry

    The profession of perfumer is a particularly demanding profession. This requires having many qualities such as a keen sense of smell associated with advanced knowledge of chemistry. Also, this area reserved for few people in the world is transmitted most often from generation to generation. Thus, Clément Gavarry is no exception to tradition and himself comes from a family working in the perfume industry.The contrasting childhood of Clément GavarryClément Gavarry was not born in Grasse but in Paris, in January 1977. Nevertheless, his roots are beautiful and deeply rooted in the field of Grasse and flowers. Indeed, he comes from a family that worked in the perfume industry. His grandfather was a lavender farmer and distiller in Grasse.

    It is therefore quite natural that Clément Gavarry was introduced to odors very early on. Likewise, her other grandfather was a gardener for Chanel and her father, Max Gavarry was himself a perfumer. It is therefore logical that Clément Gavarry followed this path, a true family heritage. He still remembers the long walks he made with his elders in fields filled with the scent of jasmine and rose. Likewise, he was introduced at a very early age to the various techniques for distilling odors. So he had no trouble getting a chemistry degree. However, Clément Gavarry is also passionate about sailing. He has always had a real fascination with the ocean. This is why, at first, he was more interested in the boat or aircraft industry. However, it was an internship at the New York office of IFF in 1998, which caused him to change his plans. He was literally fascinated by the nose job and so he definitely took this path.

    Now convinced of his new vocation, Clément Gavarry joined the International Superior Institute of Perfumes, Cosmetics and Food Flavors of Versailles, a prestigious school better known under the name of ISIPCA. He also completed this initial training with a course at the IFF Perfumery School in 2004. To this day, he still works within the IFF company and in which he quickly distinguished himself for his knowledge. -do out of the ordinary. Moreover, he received the Rising Star award in 2006 in the Corporate Fragrance category. Clément Gavarry possesses an extraordinary sensitivity and has the ability to combine a raging passion in his perfumes with an unparalleled technique. He has an instinctive approach and a unique taste for smells.

    Although he is now at the beginnings of his career, Clément Gavarry has already collaborated with other great perfumers on several large-scale projects for Prada, Chloé or even Tom Ford.
