Domitille Bertier

If perfumery was for a very long time a sector reserved for men, it would seem that this one followed the same movement as that of the emancipation of women. Thus, more and more of the latter are occupying the position of perfumer. One of them is called Domitille Bertier and has already paved the way for a splendid career.Domitille Bertier’s professional careerDomitille Bertier is a discreet young woman who does not like to talk about her life and who much prefers to make herself known through her creations than through her personal anecdotes. Nevertheless, we know that she followed a training course within ISIPCA. It is one of the most famous perfume schools on the planet. The latter is located in Versailles and has seen many of today’s greatest perfumers.

What is more, in parallel with this training, Domitille Bertier received the best teaching within the company International Flavors & Fragrances, better known under the name of IFF and considered today as being the third world leader in the industry of aromas for perfumery or the food industry. Domitille Bertier joined it as an intern in 1994. She has never left it since. Since 2007, she has held the position of senior perfumer there and this allows her, moreover, to collaborate with the greatest creative houses as well as with other renowned perfumers.

Domitille Bertier already has many creations to his credit. If she often works solo, she has also collaborated with other big names in perfumery on certain projects.
