Fanny Bal

Fanny Bal, a rebellious perfumerTo become a perfumer, it is necessary to have many qualities. First of all, you must have a developed sense of smell. However, this is not enough. Each new child in the profession then finds his mentor and it is alongside Dominique Ropion that Fanny Bal has let her creativity speak for itself.

Fanny Bal and Dominique Ropion

It was within one of the largest perfume manufacturing companies that Fanny Bal began her career. As you can see, Fanny Bal had the chance to join a particularly powerful company in the olfactory world, which quickly put her in touch with great perfumers. Dominque Ropion has worked for all the biggest luxury brands like Yves Saint-Laurent, Kenzo,
Cacharel or even Boucheron, to name only a tiny part. However, it was this time for Frédéric Malle that he signed a four-handed with Fanny Bal, in 2017.

Sale Gosse, Fanny Bal’s first great perfume

Fanny Bal is currently at the dawn of her career. She has just presented a new fragrance for Frederic Malle, named Sale Gosse. Here is a very evocative name which perfectly conveys the rebellious and quirky spirit of the young woman. With him, Fanny Bal signs a fresh, light and delicious composition. While this is indeed a perfume intended for children, its recipe seems almost mature enough to be worn by adults. This is already opening the doors to a very promising future for this designer …
