    Francis Kurkdjian

The Paris Opera and its corps de ballet. Haute Couture and its creators. The world of perfume and its artistic imagination. Here are three worlds made up of discipline and rigor, culture and determination that inspire this man with the slender figure on a daily basis. Francis Kurkdjian quickly made his entry into the cenacle of perfume-creators whose names we quickly remember. With admiration or jealousy.Sometimes both. Francis owes his talent to his involvement, certainly facilitated by his passion for art and the world of perfume that he discovered in his teens, but above all to his desire to never disappoint those who trust him. A winning posture, which allowed him to sign world-renowned perfumes very quickly after leaving ISIPCA, to offer tailor-made fragrances, to give an olfactory dimension to artistic installations around the world, then in 2009 to create his eponymous perfume house, and in 2017 he sold part of the capital to the LVMH group. And all this in no way prevents this perfumer-creator from working since 2005 within the Takasago company and from signing many successful perfumes. He also passes on his know-how to young perfumers, an educational concern at the heart of his priorities.

“The ingredient does not interest me. What matters to me is the emotion of the result. »Francis Kurkdjian

While perfumers have worked in the shadows for a very long time, they are increasingly highlighted by design houses. Some of them go even further by opening their own creative house on their behalf. This is particularly the case of perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, a talented creator who has worked for the biggest brands but also offers a niche perfumery for those passionate about his perfumes.

It must be said that these values had been instilled in him through learning the piano and classical dance.
