Robert Gonnon

Robert Gonnon is a discreet perfumer and of whom we know very little except that he created sumptuous perfumes in a very short period of time. In addition, he was a perfumer for Firmenich. It is a Swiss company that creates food flavors and fragrances. It was founded in 1895 and is today considered to be a giant in perfumery.

It is therefore just behind Givaudan, showing itself as a world leader in its sector. Thus, Robert Gonnon seems to have placed his stone on this building which has become monumental. The notoriety of this company has enabled it to create perfumes for the biggest luxury brands. However, he started his career on the fly by launching the famous Ô de Lancôme, in 1969. For the same brand, he then developed Sikkim juices in two different versions. At the same time, he also joined forces with Courrèges and created Empreintes as well as Grès for QuiProQuo. Finally, a little later, in 1978, he made Anaïs Anaïs for Cacharel as well as Metal for Paco Rabanne, which also later became Eau de Metal, in 1986.
