    Description

    The Hermessence d’Hermès collection

The very first essence to have was developed around the lily of the valley flower was Diorissimo by Edmond Roudnitska. This juice was created in 1956 and was a real source of inspiration for perfumery, paving the way for many successors. In the continuity of this heritage, Hermès therefore presents its brand new juice called Muguet Porcelaine.

    The Hermessence d’Hermès collection

Muguet Porcelaine is a juice that belongs to the Hermessence d ‘ Hermès collection. It is a blend of perfumes that embody the quintessence of this brand. This assortment is sewn with unique and exclusive creations, full of emotion and suggestion. Like its predecessors, Muguet Porcelaine was composed by perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena. This then tries to make us travel through materials that generally appeal to the senses or arouse an emotion linked to a memory. Also, in this quest, the perfumer tried to tame a flower that was both rebellious and delicate, strong and candid: lily of the valley. He explains his choice in these terms: “There is so much subtlety in lily of the valley that I dreamed of it sublimated. I immersed myself in its perfume, forgetting the other senses, in order to restore the beauty and the supple voluptuousness of this fragile flower like porcelain. Thus, Jean-Claude Ellena made nature idealized. What’s more, the prowess is all the greater when you consider that the lily of the valley is a mute flower. Indeed, the latter cannot be distilled and it is therefore on the talent of chemist of its exclusive perfumer that the house of Hermès called upon.

The floral lightness of Muguet Porcelaine

As the name of this perfume suggests, its fragrance smells of lily of the valley. So, you just have to close your eyes to see its nascent bells coated with its protective green wake. To transcribe this emotion, Hermès has developed a fragrance that is cold, light and fine at the same time. The brand has thus succeeded in giving birth to a lily of the valley larger than life. What’s more, what prettier flower to evoke the whiteness and fragility of porcelain? A real olfactory feat, Jean Claude Ellena reveals here a green lily of the valley from its top notes. This one is surrounded by a juicy pear as well as watery notes reinforcing the freshness of this flight. Then, the neroli gives the whole orange and very sunny accents. Thus, Muguet Porcelaine becomes a fragrance as radiant as a spring day. An animal note then appears in its background, giving more depth and structure to this very delicate fragrance. This emanates directly from musk, an ingredient that only reinforces the sensuality of this juice.
